Excel tab key issue

Today I come across a new problem in excel. When I press tab button in excel, it jumps to last column instead the second column.

This problem is due to “transition navigation key” option is enabled in Excel. To uncheck this option

Excel 2010 – 2007.

  1. Go to file and select options.
  2. Select advanced option, below you will see a menu called Lotus compatibitlity.
  3. Uncheck the box “Transition navigation keys” and press ok.

EXCEL 2003:
• From the Menu bar choose TOOLS > OPTIONS
• Select the TRANSITION tab
• Under SETTINGS clear/uncheck TRANSITION NAVIGATION KEYS check box
• Click OK to save the change

The problem solved.
